On his first Move-In Day as the 10th president and CEO, Dr. Mark Brown wanted to help.
More than 900 new students decided °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Êͼ¹ÒÅÆ was where they wanted to learn and grow and Dr. Brown was ready – along with First Lady Gwen Brown, members of the Board of Trustees and Dr. Brown’s Cabinet.
Instead of the morning meeting, they donned white T-shirts and sneakers ready to greet students and their families to help them get settled into their dorms on campus. This year’s total enrollment will hit almost 3,000 students.
New Student Orientation leaders cheered at the Lincoln Gates, welcoming cars, SUVs, vans and rented U-Hauls packed with essentials and creature comforts to help students settle into the new school year. This enthusiasm will replay throughout the week as students make their way to campus from across the country on their assigned Move-In Day.
