ϲͼ will welcome more than 100 employers to campus on Thursday, Sept. 26 for its annual career fair. Students participating will have a chance to network and interview with potential employers during the fair in the Kellogg Conference Center from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The fair, hosted by the Office of Student Affairs’, Career Development and Placement Services will allow students to connect with a multitude of diverse companies. Participating employers will include Fortune 500 companies, governmental agencies, large regional organizations, nonprofits and service organizations.

Abena Myers-Taylor, interim vice president of student affairs and dean of student life, said she’s glad to have the continued support of participating employers.

“The corporations and companies slated to attend in this year’s fair are interested in connecting with our students, and they are eager to share information related to available internships, co-ops and job openings,” she explained.

The career fair is part of the university’s “Career Readiness Week,” which places an emphasis on preparing students for their chosen professions. A Student Interview Clinic on Wednesday September 25th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. will offer students the opportunity to have their resumes reviewed, participate in mock interviews, and learn interview tips with company recruiters ahead of Thursday’s career fair.

To participate in the Student Interview Clinic, contact Pamela Gray in the Office of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management at 724-4746, pgray@tuskegee.edu or 500 Tompkins Hall. Appointments will be accepted through noon on Tuesday, Sept. 24.

ϲͼ is dedicated to enhancing the quality educational experience it offers its students. Diverse: Issues in Higher Education frequently ranks the university as a top-tier producer of African-American and other minority graduates in numerous fields where they both employ their skills and diversify the workforce. These fields include agriculture, veterinary medicine, physical sciences, biological and biomedical sciences, engineering, and architecture — among others.
