°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Êͼ¹ÒÅÆ’s College of Agriculture, Environment and Nutrition Sciences (CAENS) welcomes Park Crossing High School students of Montgomery, AL to campus on Friday, Sept. 22 as part of the University’s Open House. About 70 high school seniors were able to hear from faculty and staff on all the majors and minors CAENS has to offer. During their visit they were also able to visit the goat farm and see a drone demonstration.
The students of Park Crossing were just the first part of CAENS Open House. On Saturday, Sept. 23 other students interested in attending °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Êͼ¹ÒÅÆ and possible a career in Agriculture were able to attend the "Academic and Student Services Fair" and talk with members of the admission staff, faculty in the Academic Affairs office and others to get a better understanding of the school admission process and the majors the University has to offer.
CAENS’ Open House was a huge success and faculty, staff and current students looks forward to other opportunities to showcase the Department to others.
