The College of Agriculture, Environment and Nutrition Sciences (CAENS), Department of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (DAES), Animal and Veterinary Sciences (AVSC) Program and the College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM), °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Êͼ¹ÒÅÆ (TUCVM) join in a collaborative effort to increase the applicant pool for the Degree of Veterinary Medicine. The two academies have demonstrated that the development and implementation of a successful Pre-Veterinary Medicine Scholars program (PVM) can serve as a pipeline to prepare and inspire talented students to pursue a career in veterinary medicine and achieve the goal of increasing African American and other URM students in veterinary medicine. PVM Scholars may choose from FOUR pre-vet (degree) options offered by the Animal and Veterinary Sciences (AVSC) Program - Science Option, Companion and Lifestyle Animals Option, Wildlife Science Option (4 Year Undergraduate Curriculum) and the Veterinary Sciences Option (3 Year Undergraduate Curriculum).
