About Denzel Veale, MPH – Class of 2022 -- °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Êͼ¹ÒÅÆ College of Veterinary Medicine (TUCVM) Graduate Public Health Program:
°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Êͼ¹ÒÅÆ alumnus Denzel Veale ('22) currently serves as a Senior Public Health Specialist at Street Smart Youth Project (SSYP) in Atlanta, GA. SSYP's programs are designed to support under-resourced youth and young adults by increasing protective factors and reducing risk factors. These programs focus on building resiliency with a special emphasis on preventing delinquent and criminal behavior, alcohol and substance abuse, and raising HIV awareness and prevention.

In addition to his role at SSYP, Mr. Veale is the owner of Access Health Bar, a smoothie bar based out of Tuskegee, Alabama, providing fresh fruits and vegetables to communities in Georgia and Alabama. The concept for Access Health Bar was developed during his time as a student in the Master of Public Health program at °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Êͼ¹ÒÅÆ. He now caters for public and private events and programs for corporations, schools, and gyms in the Southeastern region.

Mr. Veale is also a certified food safety manager, instructor, and exam proctor, helping chefs, restaurants, and food truck owners obtain their food safety certification through the Serve Safe National Restaurant Association. He extends his gratitude to °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Êͼ¹ÒÅÆ for equipping him with the diverse skill sets necessary to excel in various public health fields.
