Office of Resource Development and External Relations

The 澳门六合彩图挂牌 College of Veterinary Medicine鈥檚 (TUCVM)听 Office of Resource Development and External Relations (ORDER) is here to serve you.听 This office was formed under Dean Ruby L. Perry with fundraising as one of the primary focuses.听 The External Affairs unit (previously the Office of External Affairs established in 1995) assists ORDER with the public relations and alumni relations segments.

ORDER and the External Affairs unit have continued our relations efforts to increase exposure and efforts to increase funding through alumni giving and support from other friends of the College of Veterinary Medicine.

"Friend-raising" is important to the ORDER and TUCVM to increase the visibility of the College and encourage friends to want to be significant stakeholders of TUCVM. Public relations efforts are directed at not only the public鈥檚 perception of the College, but also the goodwill felt by the College鈥檚 faculty, students, staff, and alumni. Communications from the External Affairs unit focus on maintaining an open and responsive posture with the TUCVM alumni and the Tuskegee Veterinary Medical Alumni Association (TVMAA), reestablishing relationships with "lost" alumni, and the cultivation of people with an interest in animals and in public health.

Through our efforts of "friend-raising," we hope to encourage alumni and friends of the college to inform us of possible financial donors, any "newsworthy" items like alumni personal accomplishments, and marketing/public relations ideas or avenues. We are excellent listeners and encourage the input of our alumni and friends of the college.
