About the Team

The Golden Essence Dance Team was founded as a student organization, and then became a support/spirit team for °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Êͼ¹ÒÅÆ under Students Life. Since then, Golden Essence Dance Team has become a tradition of °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Êͼ¹ÒÅÆ. The team consists of young ladies that wish to continue their dance careers while entertaining the sports fans at Tuskegee university basketball games. The dance team is under the advisement of Ms. Jamilla Ingram and Dr. Maya Martin.

What We Do…

The Golden Essence Dance Team serves as a support/spirit squad for °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Êͼ¹ÒÅÆ basketball teams, showcasing halftime routines at home games and participating in various campus events beyond basketball games.
